Painted:
Maple wood is sanded to a smooth-as-glass finish. The first coat of primer is applied. Once this primer coat cures, the cabinet is hand scuff-sanded. A second coat of colored primer is applied. Again, this coat cures, the cabinet is hand scuff-sanded. Then, a clear coat of catalyzed conversion varnish is applied, cured, scuff sanded and a final clear coat is applied. We have many paint colors to choose from, but if you don’t see what you like – we can match those blue suede shoes (or just about anything else the rainbow can produce).
Stained:
The wood of your choosing, is sanded to a smooth finish. Stain is hand rubbed into the wood for a deep, rich tone. Once this color is thoroughly dried, two coats of catalyzed conversion varnish is applied, hand scuff sanding between coats
Washed/Glazed:
A many step process using stain, paint, glaze. Oftentimes these cabinets will be distressed as well – giving the cabinet a time worn heirloom appearance.
Unfinished:
Want to finish it yourself? We will provided you with cabinetry that is finished on the interior, ready for you to finish the exterior.
